Protein Supplement

So I've been trying to eat clean and exercise hard. Motivation has been the hardest part. The exercising is good once I get started - it's just the getting started part. Willpower and discipline!

My favourite has been my strength training. Never in a million years did I think I would love strength training. I think I've always been afraid of weights. A combination of not knowing how to use them and not understanding what they can do for my body. But that high you have after doing strength - indescribable!

So with strength training comes protein supplementing!


I really wanted to the Syntha-6 Isolate but they didn't have it at the store so I just grabbed this. This is the best tasting protein I've ever tasted. It's not grainy when mixed either. I chose the chocolate flavour to be safe! 

I mix it with some almond milk in the morning and I'm good to go! In the evening if I'm doing strength training - I make a fruit smoothie with it. I drink half of it before my workout and the other half after my workout. I do notice some differences with taking a protein supplement while working out. I do not become all sore the day - there is some soreness but definitely not as much as when I do not take any protein supplements. 

Of course I HAD to get a Blender bottle for my protein!


I'm such a sucker for marketing!!
